Dear Prudhoe Golf Club Members,
As we swing into May at Prudhoe Golf Club, the excitement on the course is evident! Especially with what looks like a change in weather. We're thrilled to share the latest updates on our upcoming competitions and events. Additionally, we'd like to highlight the following:
Major Competition Alert: Cinema Cup (Mixed) Saturday May 11th
The Cinema Cup promises to be one of the highlights of the month, combining competitive spirit with camaraderie. Join us for this major event and showcase your skills on the course for the chance to be one of PGC’s Major winners this year!
Mondays don’t have to be Moody: Bank Holiday Monday Singles Open Monday the 6th and 27th of May.
Prepare for a swingin' good time because Prudhoe Golf Club is hosting two more opens over the two bank holiday Mondays in May.
Why You Should Be There:
Challenge yourself on our course, because let's face it, nothing beats the satisfaction of a well-hit ball... or the hilarious mishaps of a not-so-well-hit one!
Rub elbows (or golf clubs) with fellow enthusiasts and maybe even pick up some new tips... or jokes!
It's a day of camaraderie, competition, and plenty of "fore"-tunate moments! And the occasional “Did you see where my ball went”?
Act swiftly, or risk being outmanoeuvred by a slow-moving golf cart!
As a member you can benefit from booking on to these events now via the BRS booking system. Book your preferred tee time with your playing partners and pay on the day in the office.
Play with the Pro’s: NE/NW Pro-am Friday May 31st.
We are excited to extend a special invitation to you to join us for a thrilling and prestigious event, our upcoming Pro-Am Golf Tournament. This event promises to be an exceptional opportunity for golf enthusiasts like yourself to tee off alongside professional players, showcasing your skills and camaraderie in a competitive yet friendly atmosphere. Please enquire team bookings in the shop team of three golfers £270.
We also want to acknowledge the winners of recent notable events:
Race to St. Andrews Round 1: Congratulations to the winner! John Leck And two runners up who move to the final Michael Philips in second place and David Grace in third..
The Masters Green Jacket: A prestigious honour, well-earned by Simon Westgarth with a score of 42 points.
The Masters Clubhouse Trophy: David Henderson emerged victorious in this exciting competition with a combined score of 59.
