Qualifying Competitions - Handicap Information
Exceptional Scoring
With the new playing handicap update to WHS meaning that 36 points in a stableford competition is now back to playing to your handicap, the committee have decided to trial for 2 months that the handicap secretary will now automatically review anyone who has scored 40 points or higher during a Saturday club competition, or when playing in an open day at another club.

After a review is conducted, which will be based on their current form and previous scores and trends, an additional handicap reduction of 1.0 shots could now be applied to your handicap.

The handicap secretary will inform the player via WhatsApp and email the reasoning behind the reduction with the rationale for the decision. If the player wants to appeal this, they will need to lodge an appeal within 14 days of the adjustment being published on their record to the Club Secretary via email or post.

Bring on the summer golf and best of luck in all the competitions!

See you on the fairway.
